Further to the visit which Mr.W.H.Lynas paid us on the 3rd inst. We are in receipt of a letter from Alfred Graham & Co. dated 8th inst. as follows:-

"With reference to our Sales Manager's interview with "you recently, we beg to advise you that we have sent on "per passenger train 3 aluminium Autohorns, each turned to "a different note, together with four alternative trumpet "lengths for each horn.
"If it is not asking too much from you, we should "esteem it a favour if you would be so good as to test the "different models in order to ascertain which note is most "suitable to you. We may say that any further suggestions "which you care to make regarding this warning signal will "be most carefully considered by us."

Immediately the horns and trumpets above referred to come to hand, they shall be handed to you.
