X1238 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/T. 7th April, 1924. Messrs. The Rapson Tyre & Jack Co.Ltd., New Malden, Surrey. Dear Sirs, With reference to the set of 40/50 car tyres which you have kindly offered to supply us for test, we would prefer that these were the double tread pattern. Our experience with car tyres is that we always wear away the tread before the casing is damaged. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
