LL Smith X1113 25, Rue Gide, Levallois-Perret. Seine, France. GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/IO/JAB. 27th August 1936. To. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From. G.W.H. COMPLAINTS. I have tried Favier's Bentley B.226.GA. with the new complete clutch fitted. The engagement is 100% reversing and otherwise. It has not cured the complaint of transmission rattle when declutching. In my opinion this is due to maximum allowances in the gear box units. I understand that in the case of the complaint not being cured, you propose fitting the propellor shaft damper, in which case you will be receiving Paris Depot request for the damper propellor shaft and gear box drive extensions. ------------ G.W.H. | ||
