For the attention of Mr.F.Attwater.

29th. December 1937.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of 28th. inst., and the remarks contained therein. We presume that the reason that it is not practicable to screw the die off the screw thread portion of the plug - we would like you to confirm this.

We attach herewith a print of a revised filler plug to EXS.348. We would like you to say whether this is a practicable proposition and give us quotations as per our last letter. We are under the impression that this plug can be made by using a die split on the centre line with loose inserts for the recess and hexagonal cavity.

If possible we would like to hear from you by return as to the practicability of manufacture of this plug.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
