30°C over Austria the oil temperature would rise to 81°C and frothing would be likely to occur. The alternative supposition is that a water leak from the system caused the trouble.

F.11.

Faireys' will not be flying this engine until the end of the month. Gibson is going down to look over the installation at the end of the week. The engine which we hope to finish off by the end of the week is going to Westlands at Forsyths' request. We should have an engine ready to act as a reserve for Fairey before he starts flying.

I am getting some tests carried out on perfect circle rings.

R's car is promised from the coachbuilders on the 17th. inst.

We hope to get 14-EX EAC.Vll completed by the end of the week. It only awaits rear brake shaft modifications.

I am glad you are having good weather - it rains incessantly here.
