S/W. X 960. Lp{Mr Lappin}10/LAM.5.2.32. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Lp.{Mr Lappin} Re: GLN-60 RECEIVED 4 MAY XII B 6 The engine in the above car has now done just under 6,000 miles. The petrol consumption is 16 1/2 miles to the gallon. The engine now pinks on the red line and is generally noisey. There is a bad crankshaft period at 47 m.p.h. on top gear and corresponding engine speed on third gear. The clutch has a tendency to slip under the worst conditions. Starting up from cold is not good. Performance and pickup is down. Water-pump leaks. Front wheel brake thumps and the Servo jaggers. Lp.{Mr Lappin} | ||
