SECRET. 600. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/R.26.4.38. WRAITH. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}10/E.25.4.38. ? (1) R.R. Distributor. We have not yet ironed out all the troubles in the R.R. distributor mentioned in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/R.30.3.38. Until then we would rather not fit it to your car. This distributor is now running on 3 experimental cars. (2) Engine Vibration. Diagrams have been obtained from the nose of the Bentley crankshaft, which indicate that there is no difference between the behaviour of this and that of the Wraith, a full report is being issued. (3) Steering Pivots. We have completed 50 hours bumping on the needle bearing pivots. Material will be available to enable us to deal with 27.G.VI in a fortnight's time.
