S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X8410 CWB8/GM/12-2-27. SPRINGING FOR CONTINENTAL USE. With reference to your memorandum "Suspension" Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RMl/LG28826 and the blue prints of spring dimensions on page 24(a) have you yet come to a decision and agreement regarding the question of the rear spring clearances there shown? The matter is of some urgency as there are papers waiting here for some action involving proposals for some alteration in the methods of springing for Spain and elsewhere and it would seem that the main criticisms of springing in these countries at present would be met if greater clearance was provided for the rear springs. Please let me know how this matter is progressing. CWB. | ||
