Reports have been sent in on :- X.168 - Further tests of Steering Pivot F.3253 X.168 - Steering Pivots.C.402 X.168 - Steering Pivots F.2353. ----------------- [The following heading is struck through by a handwritten line] Valve Springs of different temper with a view to preventing breakage. - X.472 We have now received 2 sets of springs tempered by ourselves at a higher temperature than we usually use. They are about to be tested as the rig is just being fitted up in our new shop. It will be driven by the little piston valve engine as we can then vary the speed if necessary.
