Valve Springs & Recessed Washers for same. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}6/W22714. I have a copy of memo from Mr. Elliott with reference to the above, E3/G17714. I do not know whether I am expected to reply to this memo direct as I should ordinarily or whether I am to report such matter to Mr.Mercer, this being an experimental job. I shall be glad to know something definite. I do not think, unless I am to reply direct, that this memo should have come to me, unless through Mr. Mercer. // As I have already explained to you verbally, I am quite agreeable to these springs being standardised as soon as ever possible, in fact, the sooner the better, as I do not think we shall be taking advantage of the light type of pistons, which is now fitted as standard on our cars, unless the stronger valve springs are fitted. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
