1065 Rmll/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 20th June, 1938. A.R. Smith, Esq., Messrs. Ford Motor Co.,Ltd., Dagenham, ESSEX. Dear Mr. Smith, I would very much like to get hold of a Lincoln-Zephyr car which has been well run in, and put it through one of our standardised performance tests. As this necessitates a considerable amount of full throttle work, it is essential that the chassis should previously have had a good deal of running. If it is at all possible, I would like to collect the car early one morning and return it to you the next evening. Could this be arranged ? Yours sincerely, | ||
