To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 8-2677 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/ADL 2.10.31. With reference to your query re the performance of the A.C. petrol pump in France. Attached herewith a note from GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} as to the alterations he found necessary in order to accommodate the carburetter to the A.C. petrol pump. With regard to his remarks re the slow running of the car being affected by the petrol pump, we think that the R.R. petrol pump will be better for this trouble because it appears to suck petrol better at low speeds.
