To EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from EH. c. to EY. +543 -6027 EH5/LG4.2.19. 4th Feb. 1919. X.1889 X.543 With reference to the Car Inspection report mentioned in your memo EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/W19/DJ31119., in which the owner of the chassis 1462 says that "the car is always very difficult to start and would it be possible to fix a self-starter if so what would be the cost", we recommend in cases like that that we should advocate the fitting of a priming device. There is no doubt with a primer there should be no difficulty in starting a car and in any case even if the electric starter is fitted the primer is fitted as a part of the equipment. The primer is quite a simple cheap fitting and be believe would make a number of customers happy who are at present complaining of the difficulty of starting. EH. | ||
