Reference to BY7/K5.1.28, without going into every individual case to ascertain to whom the changing of the coil was debited, I would estimate that we have had but two, outside 3,cases, where the change-over has been effected against A.T.D. We agree with the working of the Depot Sheet, and as far as we are concerned we have acted strictly to the letter of its contents, and have recommended changing A.T.D. only when the old coil failed, and the car was under the guarantee. Our policy, up to now, has been to seize upon every opportunity of changing the old type of coil for the later type, when the customer could be charged, rather than the customer should at some future time be held up while away from Paris. You agree that the conversion is not an easy job for a chauffeur to tackle, and you would not agree to send an old type of coil for replacement, would you ? "Ps". | ||
