To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} c. to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} 76000 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/JH.13.10.36. 25/30 HP. Chassis Sparking Plugs. With reference to your By/Cgh.{W Clough}4/G.7.5.36. in view of the fact that no trouble has been experienced with the 831 LR.{Mr Ellor} plug we see no reason for changing over to a washer construction plug like the C50 now fitted to Bentley chassis. Furthermore such a change-over would entail an increase in cost of 16/- per engine. We therefore recommend that you continue using the 831 LR.{Mr Ellor} HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
