Dear Sirs,

We have forwarded to you under separate cover, by parcel post, addressed for your attention, one skeleton top as designed for the single line Telegage unit, a sample of which the writer left with you recently.

During our tests of this unit for air venting, and also for the discharge of petrol on over-filling, it was found necessary to maintain a cross-sectional area of at least 9/16" both through the union, and for the inside bore of the overboard vent pipe, to prevent an excess rise in the gauge in the case of over-filling and unusual pressures.

It was also found highly beneficial to project the bell vent pipe into the union passage, which apparently considerably increases its effectiveness as a bell vent, and also enables
