Re. 14-G4.

Would you kindly let me know what you require to do with this car to make it of the latest standard with latest modifications.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} understood from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} that this car would be handed over to you early this week to be prepared for sale. Certain parts will require to be removed from it but Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} considers that you need not be too meticulous in removing all and every part that is non standard, as we intend to hand this car over to one of our Inspecting Engineers.

With regard to the body, do you think this body is too far gone to be renovated and made usable? If so, could you ascertain if the Experimental Department would like to retain the body for further experimental work? Otherwise we should be glad if you would have this chassis put into proper condition for the purpose for which we intend to use it, and it can be looked upon really as an unofficial Demonstration Car in the hands of one of our Inspectors. How soon do you think you would be able to let us have it mechanically sound?
