Modifications to the cylinder block, piston, and inlet valve dimensions.

In order to avoid re-studding the cylinder block distance pieces are required to make up the height of three of the stud bosses.

The inlet valve cannot be opened appreciably earlier than on the existing design without fouling the piston but a gashed piston may be used at a later stage.

Provision has been made for opening out the inlet valve from 1.750" diameter to 1.850" diameter.
