Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 4th. inst. and would inform you that the crankshaft which you require nitriding should be delivered to our Works " Usine de Gennevilliers", 6 Rue Henri Wuillemin.

We shall effect the work under the best possible conditions, it however, must be understood that we cannot accept any responsibility should the nitriding of the crankshaft not be successful in view of the fact that the steel was not supplied by us.

We should point out that we have as a favour accepted to carry out the nitriding for you , because Messrs. Rolls Royce are licenced in England to carry out the nitriding process.
