1135. To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from G/Rb.{R. Bowen} G/Rb.{R. Bowen}22/M/72/W.301136. Phantom III Fan Pulley - Section 5220. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.5/AP.27.11.36. We have investigated the suggested composite type of Fan Pulley, consisting of 2 Dished Nickel steel pressings spot welded together, as shown on Drawing SK.5028, and estimate that the saving in Factory cost over the present type of Pulley, which is a machined forging, would amount to at least 1/6 per chassis.
