The Skefko Ball Bearing Co.Ltd.
LUTON.

For the attention of Mr. Knaggs.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 19th. inst. we have since experienced another failure of these ball races and we are forwarding this one to you under separate cover. It has run some 6,000 miles on one of our Experimental cars, and as this is the maximum life we are beginning to expect from these races, you will agree that they can hardly be considered satisfactory.

In my previous letter I asked you to send any modified bearings which you might have developed and which you consider will give improved performance on the above.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
