[Handwritten]: 1306 To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} [Handwritten, struck through]: c. to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} [Handwritten]: Kes. Please let me have your recommendation [Handwritten Initials]: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Chassis Road Springs. We should be glad if you could get somebody on to arrive at more practical limits for road springs. For instance, I notice in RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}2/MW.16.11.36, that one Phantom III car is held up for changing rear road springs from 1500 lbs. to 1550 lbs. I think you will agree that such changes are frivolous. Will you get out your proposals, and then we will discuss them with By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} [Handwritten signature] | ||
