RE: SEMI-FLEXIBLE ATTACHMENT OF SCUTTLE TO DASHBOARD.
Would you kindly note that Mr. Royce would like you to take measures to ensure that the semi-flexible attachment of scuttle to dashboard shall be used on all R.R. chassis with any type of body.
This is consequent upon differences noticed between the running of chassis 1 EX. which is fitted with the semi-flexible attachment and chassis 7 CA. which has a rigid dash and scuttle.
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
