CHASSIS 89-MC. AND 71-RC.{R. Childs} DYNAMOS.

With reference to the two dynamos returned from the above chassis on account of the side lamps burning out, these machines have now been investigated by EFC. and for your information we attach hereto copy of his report.

You will note one of the dynamos is perfectly satisfactory, and as a matter of fact has an output on the low side.

It was found on the other however that the output was high, and in order for us to reproduce the fault complained of by Hoopers if possible, we intend fitting this dynamo to one of the experimental chassis.

In order that we may carry out our tests under the same conditions as Hoopers, will you kindly obtain from them the make and type of side lamps fitted to the cars at the time of the complaint.

We shall be pleased if you can get this information for us as soon as possible so that we may proceed with our own tests.
