Bailey - Chief Engineer} X1918 l. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG19.8.22. K.L.G. SPARKING PLUGS - (Type K1) X.1918. With reference to the above plugs which are being tried on 40/50 HP. chassis. You should make a special point of noticing whether there is any trouble from pre-ignition. Although these plugs have been run successfully on all the Coshawk engines, on a recent test with the 40/50 on Brooklands, we had trouble with these plugs pre-igniting both on the 40/50 HP. and the Coshawk.
