Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/MH.{M. Huckerby} 4th. November, 1939. S.B.Wilks, Esq., The Rover Company Ltd., COVENTRY. Dear Wilks, I remember when you were putting up your new shops you made some observation about the corrugated iron structure being very economical to erect and reasonable from a heat loss point of view. We are, of course, putting up all kinds of buildings at present, and I tried to get some interest shown in these corrugated iron buildings but was told that the amount you could save on the structure was insignificant compared with the cost of putting in the floor, heating and light etc. I should be very glad if you could give me your opinion on this subject, and possibly, at the same time you could refer me to the Company who did your work. Yours sincerely, | ||
