City work I do not feel is very hard on brakes. I do find, however, from contacts with our Service Departments, there are many kinds of drivers who are such vicious users of brakes that relinings at the end of 15,000 miles are not uncommon. Altogether, however, our own clientele is more than satisfied with the brakes we supply, which I must admit are better than the brakes on the car which you have to reline every 3,000 miles. However, I should be interested in seeing what this Girling brake construction is and would like to have an opportunity of analyzing it with some of our own types of brakes.

Please remember me to your playmate and if everything goes well I may be over this summer to pay you a visit.

Very truly yours,

PACKARD MOTOR CAR COMPANY
