I arrived here on the midday train from Paris. We are starting shifts on 3.B.IV. on Tuesday morning. A set of 6.50 x 17 India tyres have been received, but a day's running will be completed on the existing 6.00 x 17" tyres before the new ones are fitted, so as to gain a fair comparison between the two sizes. F.{Mr Friese} Dodd has been asked to forward us Four new 6.50 x 17 Indias, so as to have some in reserve and if necessary, to have sufficient to finish off the test. We are hoping to receive these as soon as possible. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/HFH.{Hoppy F.
