(3531) To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from BJ. Constantinesco Car. BJ3/E12/11/26 Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} I was informed by Mr. Nutt of Barker's on the telephone yesterday that General Motors are paying £1,000 per month for the option in America on the Constantinesco car, as they are considering whether they will use it. I do not think this means much to people like the General Motors who are probably examining all sorts of new things. Mr. Nutt said that he had heard from certain enthusiasts that it was a very wonderful development and was going to alter entirely the motoring and he asked if we were examining it. I feel sure that you have already gone fully into the matter but thought you would like to have the above information. BJ. | ||
