20 HP. CAR FITTED WITH 4-WHEEL BRAKES
WITH RIGHT HAND CHANGE ETC.

We are sending to you 8-G-111 and 9-G-111 - 20 HP. open touring cars fitted with 4-wheel brakes. These cars are fitted with exactly similar parts as are instructed for the first production cars.

Since you last tried 8-G-111 car, the following work has been carried out :-

1. The machining of the front axle has been slightly modified.
2. The method of fixing the lever on the brake operating shaft has been modified.
3. The shape of the levers has been modified.
4. The length of the lever on the cam operating shaft has been lengthened. The lengthening of this lever has increased leverage on the front brakes slightly - approx 3%.
5. The steering pivots have a plain bush at the bottom.

We have fitted to 8-G-111 car some of the latest tyres which have been submitted to us by Messrs: Dunlops. These tyres fit on the well based rims which are used for the low pressure tyres, but the tyres themselves now are very little above the standard section. They are however slightly smaller in diameter which will reduce the gear ratio.

We have also fitted to 8-G-111 the modified catch on the mag. drive. This is a definite improvement over the old one for ease of operation.
