CHASSIS B.154.MR. CAPT. MOLYNEUX. STEERING GEAR.

1300. file

With reference to your memo C.7/C.27.3.39. and the memo from Paris on the same subject, reference Sr/Dn.3/Vf.23.3.39. we are waiting delivery of the damaged parts at Derby. We have traced them as far as the Air Port at Croydon, and today we have been on the telephone twice urging the release of the parts which are of course essential to us to enable us to form an opinion as to what has caused the trouble.

I would like to point out that the same method of mounting the follower rollers in the steering gear is used as on Wraith, and we see no reason for the trouble which has developed.
