Martindale}2/AP.5.3.37. REAR BRAKES G.A.E.20. The rear axle and brakes of this car are obsolete and therefore cannot be used for test purposes. Will you please obtain the necessary parts from production to bring it up to date and fit them. We understand everything is available except the half shafts which will have to have the splines cut on them in our Shop. Will you then fit the oiling scheme GL.{G. Linnett}854, but substituting a four way Bijur junction in place of the 3-way piece and adjacent soldered T. piece, as suggested by yourselves. Will you also fit the Ferodo B.Z. material on the brake straps, that we have given to HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/FS.{F. Steele} This is for squeak tests.
