For the attention of Mr.Childs.
Dear Sirs,
Further to our communication of the 29th of last month which was in reply to yours of the 24th concerning headlamps of the Bentley type, we have thoroughly investigated the position and as we feared there are no complete lamps available, and we are not in a position to build these at the present time.
However, there are a certain number of parts available, and in view of your statement that these lamps are required in connection with headlamps which have been damaged in minor accidents, we suggest that in the circumstances the most satisfactory procedure would be for you to return the original lamps to our Service Department for repair, when they will probably be able to satisfactorily meet your needs.
Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LTD.
