PHANTOM 11 ROAD SPRINGS.

We urgently require a set of special road springs for R's car which leaves for France on Saturday. The specification of the springs is as follows :-

Front. Type F.78792. Free camber 4.5". Loaded Camber Flat. Max. bump 2.5" neg. Poundage 1050. Thickness and number of leaves to be adjusted to give reasonable stress.

Rear. F.79439. Free Camber 10.25". Loaded Camber Flat. Max. bump 4.5" neg. Poundage 1200.

Will you please get through to Firths immediately and find out what possibilities are of getting these springs in the time available. We anticipate that they can produce the rear springs by altering some existing springs but may have some difficulty with the front.

[Handwritten] O.J.

[Handwritten] Fitted to 18EX 8.12.30.
