Y 4268 RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.1/MA.13.9.32. PEREGRINE BUMPER. The front end of the above chassis has now been bumped for over 50 Hrs. Will you please remove the front axle for examination. We should like the axle itself to go through an oil test for finding cracks. This will necessitate all the paint being removed from the axle. The rear ends of the 2 bottom leaves of the O.S. front road spring have broken off. When the axle is being removed we should like you to see if you can account for the failures, as the N.S. spring appears to be satisfactory. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} | ||
