ESTABLISHMENT CHARGES. 27/7/23 In 1921 during the slump, it was decided to make every effort to reduce Establishment Charges (excluding depreciation) when we were manufacturing goods to the equivalent to 12 chassis per week, to...............£300,000 p.a., that is £500. per chassis. During the year ending Oct. 31st 1922, the total manufacture was at the equivalent rate of 12.3 Big Chassis per week. With the advent of the 20 H.P. chassis when manufacture equivalent to 26 40/50 H.P. chassis per week was anticipated, we had aimed to keep down Works Establishment Charges to :- £472,000 p.a., that is £363. per chassis. Up to June 30th of the present Financial Year, manufacture has been at the equivalent average rate of 29 40/50 H.P. chassis per week and Works Establishment Charges have been kept down to the rate of ......................£433,000 p.a., that is £300. per chassis.
