X. 168 Extract from Mr. Platford's report re Cars in Spanish Grand Prix. - in X.387. Steering. At high speeds is not very good. One has considerable difficulty in keeping a straight course. I improved matters by replacing the buffer springs in the steering tubes with solid distance pieces, but owing to the rough nature of the road, I did not think this advisable and therefore fixed the buffer springs. I certainly think however that this is a point that requires investigation. | ||
