16.3.31. W/G C. Pat. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Ho. RP4/1118.3.31. [STAMP] RECEIVED 20 MAR 1931 re. PHANTOM II. BOOM PERIODS. MR. DAVIS. With reference to your PH2/ST18.3.31. we understand that the body which was originally on 147-GY is now being fitted to Mr. Davis' original chassis, 100-GY. We shall certainly be glad to try this car when complete, as normally we should expect this car [text struck through] to be correspondingly 15% worse for the boom complaint. We think it is an important point to confirm. Also, if we could handle this car at the Works we could change over bodies with complete cars now suffering from boom trouble. Again, we could try this body on various chassis to note variation in them, if any. So far we have not found this to be the case. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
