X44629 To CWB. from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hsl/LG26.11.24. RE. CHATEAUROUX. X9941 Referring to CWB/DB {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 42. 24.11.24. From the reports we have received from Chateauroux, the 10,000 miles in connection with the Firths springs should be completed by Dec. 9th. We should therefore like you to arrange your visit before that date. Some of the men have been out there practically continuously for 8 or 9 months and we have promised them that they can return as soon as the 10,000 miles have been completed. We are also anxious to have them back so that they can become familiar with the new EAC. car which we expect will be going out to France immediately after Christmas. As regards your getting there. We suggest that if like to cross on the Southampton/Harve route (which is a night service), the car could meet you at Le Harve - it would then not be necessary for you to go to Paris at all. If you wish to go to Paris we could arrange for the car to meet you there if you will let us know the date. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
