X.3039 - TENSILE TESTS OF ALUMINIUM ALLOYS

Herewith please receive copy of the results of tensile tests of the three alloys M3., M4., and A.F., together with Mr. Hall's analyses of these alloys.

It may be remembered that M3 is magnalium metal converted by Messrs. Blackwell to magnalium, from aluminium supplied to them, and that sample M4, is magnalium obtained from the Metropolitan Foundry.

These results complete the whole series of tests of light aluminium alloys.
