The wear and condition of shock damper links following tests in England and France.

Further to report on 22.G.V. after tests in England and France we give below report on lower end of shock damper links.

Shock Damper Links LOP.F.60246.

Outer Ball Pads F.84932 in BZ/PLC. badly worn on spherical area against ball end pin, and hammering against the cap nut.

Inner Ball Pads F.57886 in BZ/PLC. general condition good.

Ball Pins F.57884 in S/ZN - badly worn against lower ball pad, off side .075, near side .050. The hardened case worn completely away.

The hardness was checked on the undamaged portion of the case and also on the core and found to be O.K.

The oil passages in ball end pin were perfectly free and ball pads were leaking oil.

Upper ball joints in good condition.
