to [REDACTED] from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RE PHANTOM HEADLAMPS. We think that, if we raise to radiator on G2B. Series one inch, we should also raise the headlamps by that amount, so that their position remains the same relative to the shoulders of the radiator tank. As the present height of the lamps has been fixed at 13.375.ins. from the top of the frame, the new height for G.2.B. Series will be 14.375. ins. The centres will remain unaltered. These remarks apply to the brackets for the fixed lamps and also to the R-R Dippers for Production Cars. In the case of Sports cars having the raised radiator, the lamps will be the same centres as those on 16.EX. but raised one inch. We think that the lamps of the car which we understand Sales have allocated to fit this modified bonnet to, should be in the new position herein given,- if possible.
