To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to BJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X3701 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M4.112 6. 20 HP. PETROL TANK FILLER. X.5460 X.3701 Herewith we send N.sch.2247 shewing the large dia. filler for the 20 HP. petrol tank. It will be noticed that the filler is not the same size as the one done for the Phantom. This is because R.{Sir Henry Royce} considered that the latter would look too large on the 20 HP. Also it will be noticed there is a slight alteration to the tank suspension links. This is one of the components intended for the next 10,000 miles 20 HP. car. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
