SpectreCodename for Phantom III Front Road Springs - G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 83487/S. The above springs have been designed to give the same load and rating as now being used on SpectreCodename for Phantom III III in France, only with considerably reduced stress. These springs make it unnecessary to fit a packing as on SpectreCodename for Phantom III III. As far as we can tell these are the springs required for production chassis. For commencement of production we suggest that a thin packing should be used to save ordering springs of different poundages. Will you please therefore arrange for the Demonstration cars, Numbers 4, 5 & 6 chassis, to be fitted with these springs. One set should be rushed through to replace those running in France, and a second set for the Bumper Chassis. SpectreCodename for Phantom IIIs numbers 1 and 2 will also need to be brought up to date.
