HYDRAULIC DAMPER ON FRONT AXLE. E.457
X.8520
X.8420

We send herewith N.sch.2046 shewing the layout of the above damper.

The geometry is not entirely what we could wish, but we believe the effectiveness of the damper will be principally in its centre position, and there the geometry is not so bad.

Nsch.2047 (herewith) shews the modification to the side steering lever to take the ball end. Exactly how you will deal with this we shall have to leave to you, but we suggest that you might think it worth while to make a hand forging for the first lever. We have suggested using the existing front shock absorber ball joints on account of the conveneince, but we appreciate that the loads may be very high, and these ball joints not sufficiently large. This can be corrected at a later date if found necessary.
