Harcombe}19.10.38 and Sr/VAI/ET.10.11.38 re the above, the following is the present position: We have had 12 mounting brackets made, 6 suitable for "M" series chassis and 6 suitable for earlier series, "K". We have completed 2 sets of oil pipes with the parts sent as per Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/SwdlI/MH.{M. Huckerby}8.II.38 (sent us in case N° R.R.17548). Mr. Emery, owner of chassis B.94.KT will arrive in Paris from Marseilles at the end of this week to collect his car and he has specially requested that we fit a filter to his car, which we have promised to do. The trouble is that we have only one General filter in stock and Sr. wants us to re-fit one to his car B.6.MR as quickly as possible. We removed the filter and necessary fittings from Sr.'s car and fitted them to B.IO.MR, Mr. Emile Dubonnet. Will D/BP. please refer to our official order N° 25II of the 19th October and kindly arrange to send us by return and by Air Mail one "General" oil filter. We only need the filter and not the other parts (fittings) mentioned in our order. We should also like to be in possession of two spare cartridges for the filters as soon as possible. Sr/VA.
