We are advised by Bombay that the petrol tank originally fitted to this car has failed, and we are asked to send a replacement as quickly as possible. We attach hereto an order for a new gauge, and shall be glad if you will kindly give particulars to enable the Order Office to order this from the makers. If you decide that a later type telegauge should be supplied will you please consider the question of adaptability to the present tank, and if any new fittings are required for the tank will you also please give details of these in order that we may issue instructions to the Works for these to be made. Bombay have also asked for particulars of this gauge to enable them to deal with any repairs in India. We propose to refer them to Depot Sheet No. 86, and we are also sending them a correction sheet issued by H.M. Hobson Ltd. If you think there is any other information which should be given to them will you please let us know so that this can be embodied in our reply. D/BP | ||
