7740 To Mr. Warwick. EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T29.5.25. X.4410 I am anxious for these three cutout contact points to replace the present ones on three of the cars.to-day. They only differ from standard in having the reduced section, so that the major portion of the bending occurs where it should occur, so as to permit of a more correct rubbing action between the points. I would suggest that the narrowest one be allocated to 98-NK, and the other two, one to 44-PK or 46-PK, and one to 6-GII. You will remember that GF.68 is fitted with distribution board with special contact arrangement and another one is allocated to 7-GII to be put on after the hpiliday. It will be necessary to see that the fixed contact point is smooth so that the points can start with the correct rubbing action. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
