WRAITH III. REAR ROLL ROD AND SHOCK ABSORBER CONNECTING LINK - LeC.5607.

--------------------------------

The Experimental Dept. have pointed out to us that if we do not hand the bosses for the stud of the locking device for the cap, it will foul the stone shield on one side. The link detail referred to is FW.1069.

To overcome this trouble we propose to put the locking device at both ends in line with the bosses on the forging for the plug which fills in the hole for the rifle boring. This will bring the locking device at the top and bottom of the link and will give one machining operation at each end in the place of two as at present.

Would you kindly modify the details accordingly.
