-2- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}4/MH.{M. Huckerby}23.6.39. 9.B.V. is now running about with larger propellor shaft joints and all the synchromesh cones lightened, leaving one small rib at the open end. The rattles on this car would only be complained of when getting away in first gear, during which time clutch jaggers are in evidence. Until, therefore, we have done further testing we recommend this arrangement for the first production boxes and have asked By/CRL.{C. R. Lisson} to instruct Production to lighten all the cones.
